Exercising

What Is Therapeutic Exercise?

Therapeutic exercise is a vital component of physical therapy that includes targeted movements, stretches, and exercises designed to help patients recover from issues such as pain, injury, post-surgical recovery, or chronic conditions. This technique is supported by research as an effective tool to help improve function, mobility, and strength while reducing pain and preventing further injury.

At WITCORF Physical Therapy, our physical therapists use a variety of evidence-based techniques to design a customized program for each patient. Rehabilitation will likely include range of motion (ROM) exercises, stretching, and strengthening exercises. Our PTs will design a treatment program that is suitable for your level of fitness, injury or condition, and other important health factors.

Our programs are founded on science-backed treatment methods and proven techniques to ensure optimal results for our patients. The overall goal of treatment is to help you become stronger and healthier as soon as possible!

Our physical therapists can enhance your quality of life by restoring functions, reducing pain, and improving your overall health. Physical therapy sessions are customized to meet each patient’s unique needs and goals.

Don’t wait to start your recovery, schedule your first appointment!
